Animal Therapy Visits
Mrs. Cottontail and Friends provides on site visits with animal therapy rabbits. These tender loving animals create a calming and nurturing encounter, which promotes healing touch and social interaction.
Mrs. Cottontail and Friends visits are 60 minutes and include:
Quality time with animal therapy rabbits. Residents are able to hold rabbits and spend time petting/touching, which is very therapeutic.
Rabbits come dressed in outfits for the season. This brings a smile to resident’s faces when you see our Halloween & Christmas costumes!
We visit all areas - assisted living, Alzheimer's and skilled nursing units.
